Isabella Wallace

Isabella Wallace

Isabella is co-author of the best-selling teaching guide, “Pimp Your Lesson!” and an award-winning teacher and AST. She is consultant and contributor for the Oxford Dictionary of Education and presents nationally and internationally on outstanding learning and teaching. She has published academic research papers on practical strategies for motivating disaffected learners; and her co-authored second book, “Talk-Less Teaching”, will be published by Crown House in 2014.

Isabella’s training is practical in nature and cutting edge in content. She has worked at Senior Curriculum and School Governance levels, and is passionate about making a difference for underprivileged youngsters through the power of education.

 

 

Prof. Barry Hymer

Prof. Barry Hymer

Barry is a world-class trainer and Professor of Psychology in Education at the University of Cumbria. He is an experienced secondary and primary school teacher and chartered educational psychologist, and the author of seven books and numerous papers and articles in the field of learning and teaching. He is Consultant Editor for the SAGE journal Gifted Education International. As the Director of Still Thinking UK Ltd, Barry has been a freelance trainer and education consultant for many years, and has made keynote and workshop presentations for over 500 national and international conferences. He has worked in a training and consultancy capacity with many thousands of teachers, students, parents, governors, teaching assistants and inspector-advisers.

Will is an inspiring and thought-provoking trainer with expertise in primary leadership, pupil creativity and curriculum design. He has over 30 years’ experience as a teacher, headteacher and LA adviser. As a head teacher he led a school that prized itself on genuine pupil creativity and was described by OFSTED as “outstanding”. Leah is the co-author of the best-selling teaching guide “Pimp Your Lesson” and has worked as an AST for many years. She is now an education consultant and has delivered training to thousands of in-service teachers both nationally and internationally. Kim is an education consultant and senior leader in the secondary sector.  His passion is to help children to think for themselves and to give them the tools to stand on their own two feet through their learning. A graduate of Cambridge University, he spent three years working in the Financial Services Industry before deciding to join the teaching profession in 1996. He has led training not only in the field of education but has also worked with the NHS, the Foreign Office, Magistrates and the Insurance industry in developing their thinking tools. In 2011, Kim won the ISA Award for “Education Initiative of the Year”. Kim speaks at conferences and delivers superb training in schools
